Pocket Stoic – Terms of Service Last updated: December 10, 2025 Developer: Circles App LLC
Welcome to Pocket Stoic (“the App”). The App is provided by Circles App LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”). These Terms govern your use of the App. By using Pocket Stoic, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree, do not use the App.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Pocket Stoic. If you are between 13 and 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.
To use certain features, you must create an account using your email and password (via Firebase Authentication).
By creating an account, you agree to provide accurate information and keep your account secure.
Pocket Stoic includes a global leaderboard. By using the App, you acknowledge:
• Your username, profile photo, level, and XP may be visible to other users. • You may update your username and update/remove your profile photo at any time. • Reflections, deep work sessions, tasks, and personal notes are never shared.
The App includes features such as:
• Deep work no-cheat timer • Daily core mission + support action • Reflections and journaling prompts • XP, streaks, levels, and progress tracking • Stoic quotes and daily affirmations • Quote images, which may include non-explicit partial nudity • Home screen widgets • Global leaderboard visibility
You understand that features may change, improve, or be removed over time.
Pocket Stoic uses Superwall to display paywalls and manage subscription flows. All purchases and subscriptions are processed through Apple’s App Store.
By purchasing a subscription, you agree to:
• Apple’s terms of sale • Being charged through your Apple ID • Apple managing renewals, cancellations, and refunds
Refunds must be requested directly from Apple.
Superwall does not process your payment; it only provides the UI for displaying offers.
You agree not to:
• Misuse or attempt to cheat the no-cheat timer system • Upload inappropriate profile photos (nudity, vulgarity, hate symbols, or anything illegal) • Harass or impersonate other users • Attempt to hack, disrupt, or reverse engineer the App • Use the App for unlawful purposes • Upload or distribute harmful or malicious content
Violation of these rules may result in suspension or termination of your account.
All content in Pocket Stoic—designs, text, graphics, logos, images, and app functionality—is owned by Circles App LLC and protected by copyright and trademark laws.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer the App.
Pocket Stoic provides productivity guidance, reflections, affirmations, and general well-being tips. Future updates may include fitness or health-related recommendations.
These do not constitute:
• Medical advice • Mental health advice • Diagnosis or treatment
Always consult a qualified professional for health or medical decisions. Use the App at your own risk.
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains:
• What data we collect • How we store and use it • What is publicly visible • How to request deletion
By using the App, you also agree to the Privacy Policy.
We may suspend or delete accounts that:
• Violate these Terms • Upload inappropriate content • Misuse features (e.g., cheating the timer, abusing the leaderboard) • Pose security or legal risks
You may delete your account at any time, which permanently removes your data from our systems.
Pocket Stoic uses third-party services such as:
• Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Analytics) • Apple In-App Purchases • Superwall (paywall display and offer management)
We are not responsible for the actions, policies, or data handling of these third-party providers.
We may update, modify, or discontinue features at any time. We are not liable for loss of data, streaks, XP, or other progress caused by bugs, outages, or updates.
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
• The App is provided “as is” and “as available” • We do not guarantee uninterrupted service • We are not responsible for losses related to productivity, work outcomes, habits, or personal decisions • Our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the App (if any)
You agree to indemnify and hold Circles App LLC harmless from any claims, damages, or losses arising from your misuse of the App or violation of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Oregon (unless otherwise required by your region).
